Xfinity Fiber only getting 30-50mbps Upload Speeds

Just to preface this the only reason I'm complaining/looking into this is because we noticed a lot of lag when everybody is online and gaming.

I just signed up for Xfinity fiber internet service on Tuesday and I seem to be having a really strange issue. Download speeds are always great in the 900mbps range but if I try to run a speed test to anything other than xfinity speedtest servers I get really slow upload speeds. I'll post my results below. Even to xfinity speedtest servers I'm only getting in the 200s which is strange. All tests were run plugged in with gigabit ethernet. On my previous provider that was 1000/1000 I would get 600-800mbps upload speeds to all of these servers I'm linking screenshots of so I know they are capable of much higher speeds that we are seeing here (certainly higher than sub 100mbps).

I've done the basic troubleshooting including
-Reboot the router/modem
-Unplug power from the fiber connection ,wait, then plug it back in (the coax cord thing)
-Put the X7 in bridge mode then put it back into normal mode
-Plugged directly into the X7 with my laptop that has a gigabit port

None of these steps have made a difference so far.

When I signed up for the service it kept saying that only 1gbps/30mbps was the only service available in the area even though they ran fiber. All of the sales people I talked reassured me that it was actually going to be 1000/1000 which doesn't seem to be the case so far.

Again I'm not looking for a higher number on speedtest just for the sake of a higher number but it does seem to suggest that some throttling might be happening on the back end limiting me to 30-50mbps upload speeds.

That is because Xfinity is not fiber. Comcast knows about the issue and refuses to fix it. Instead, they rely on the corporate line "you don't actually need fast upload speeds. The only short term fix is to leave, tell them why you are leaving, and go back to fiber.

This is their fiber to the home product not the cable Internet product. I know the difference and saw them run the fiber.
