Xfinity service

It looks like my modem is not getting power even though it's plugged on and the outlet works. I tried unplugging for a hard reset and it's still not working.

Oh no @user_1gdl03, I’m sorry to hear that your modem doesn’t appear to be getting power. We’re happy to help troubleshoot this with you.

 

To start, can you please confirm that all cable connections are securely connected? Also, are you using an Xfinity gateway or a third-party modem?

 

Lastly, could you let us know the status of the power light, for example, is it on, off, or flashing?
