XfinityWifi Authentication code

Hey all,

Hope someone can suggest something here as it seems likely I just need to pre-authorize something or download a local client.

I have always found XfinityWifi useful on those occasions when I'm away from home and need to get some information online. I was recently at the doctor's office and needed just this.
Something that has always been easy in the past.  Just login with your xfinity credentials and you're good to go.

But this time it also wanted to send an authentication code to my phone number. Now, I don't own, never have and never will own a mobile phone.  So my phone is an IP phone - a personal zoom account.  But as this requires internet, xfinity are basically sending an activation code to an internet device so it can access the internet to get the activation code.  Needless to say this whole process ground to a halt at this point.

Is there a way to pre-authorize so I don't need this new 2FA code?
